River Island Wishlist

Alright!

Lately, I am loving River Island, which is weird because I've never really liked it. But at the moment they have so many beautiful pieces coming out and their prices seem pretty good as well! So I've taken the time (oh, how good of me) to have a browse and come up with a few bits and bobs that I'm now lusting over. Damn me and my shopping addiction.

1) Pink Quilted Strappy Bralet - £25.00

2) Black Folk Print Jogger Trousers - £30.00

3) Green Palm Leaf Swing Tank Dress - £20.00

4) Black Chunky Strap Cleated Sole Sandles - £38.00

5) Gold Tone Oversized Pendant Necklace - £25.00

6) Black Knuckle Rings - £10.00

7) Dogtooth High Waisted Leggings - ££20.00

I really love 1 & 2 together, I think they'd be nice for a casual day in the Summer or even for a night out. I also love the dress, which is not me at all but I just think it'd be nice for a festival!

What do you guys think?

A Lush Review // May Day

Ooo, it's been so long since my last Lush review! This is due to the fact that I ran out and put myself on a spending ban so wasn't able to treat myself :( however, because I have an awesome boyfriend and he knows how sad having an empty Lush box makes me, he treated me :) This is the first of my purchases.

#POTW // Polish of the Week

Morning!

I've decided to start a new series! This won't be a weekly thing, but every now and again, I will be showing you my polish pick of the week. I'm desperately trying to grow my nails out! So I'm getting back into wearing nail polish, as it adds extra strength to your nails, rather than wearing nothing. So here's my first pick!

Race for Life // 2014

Today's post is something a little different, today I'm asking for your help. Two weeks today I will be running the 5k race, in Nottingham, at 2pm with my beautiful friend, Kerry. I've participated in Race for Life before, about 3 years ago and I walked it in an hour and didn't raise much money at all. This year, I'm doing it differently. I have spent the last few weeks, killing my lungs and ankles, training myself so that I'm able to run the whole thing. I reached a 5k run for the first time this week, it felt awesome! Even though my face felt like it was melting.

Anyway, what I'm asking you guys for, is a little donation. This is not something I like doing! It feels so damn cheeky! My online target is £100, with my offline target being £50. I'm over half way to my £100 so it would be amazingly awesome, if any of you could donate something as little as £1 to help me reach it. Every single penny goes towards Cancer Research UK and as cheesy as it sounds, it can literally help save lives.

As well as running for my Grandad, who is currently beating lung cancer, I'm running this for everyone who has ever lost someone to the disease. I am lucky enough to have never had to deal with losing someone to cancer, nor do I ever want to, but I have seen and experienced through people around me, how difficult a loss it is when it does happen. It is something that no person should ever have to go through. This is why Cancer Research UK and events like Race for Life, are vital.

Please click the picture above (my first run) to go over to my Just Giving page, where you can donate anything you want. Seriously, just £1 would really help me out! If you could please let me know in the comments if you have decided to donate, so I know who you are! Unless you'd like to remain anonymous. Thank you in advance and I truly recommend getting involved in something like this! It's such an awesome feeling!

Also, if you are a UK tax payer, if you could please click the 'Gift Aid' box, this adds an extra 25% to your donation with no extra cost to you! It's like free money!

If the picture doesn't work, here is my Just Giving link.

Thank you!

Here Comes The Summer Sun

Good morning!

With all this beautiful weather we've been having, I've been getting excited about my holiday (which isn't until August, but hey ho!) and I should warn you now, that I am a massive swimwear addict. So I thought I'd take today to show you some of my recent discoveries.

Love Me Beauty // May

Morning!

What lovely weather we've been having these last couple of days :) I hope it continues throughout today as I'm currently on my way to Alton Towers! So please stay out Mr Sunshine! Anyway, last month I cancelled my Glossybox subscription and rather than using that money for some productive, like saving it, I decided to try another beauty box. Welcome Love Me Beauty. I didn't blog about my first box, but let me tell you, it was awesome and I instantly loved and used every single product (3 out of 4 were full sized). With this beauty box there is a menu of 3 different but similar boxes that you can choose, if you don't like any, you simply skip a month, what else could you need?! This months box, I am impressed again, not as much as the first, but still a lot better than what Glossy have been offering! Here's what I got;

A Yankee Treat

Morning!

Yes, I know I'm on a Spending Ban but at £1.70 each, I could not resist these on eBay. And I don't think £3.40 (the only thing I've treated myself to this month so far) is going to make a huge difference to my bank balance. Anyway, look at these pretties.

Birchbox Delivery // May '14

Morning!

I didn't review last months Birchbox as I was under a lot of pressure (as you guys know) and had no time for my little Internet space, plus last months box was a bit pants (sorry Birchbox!). This month however, WOAH. I adore this months box and it has two of my favourite brands and a brand that I have always wanted to try! Also, can I just ask, has anyone else noticed that the Birchbox boxes smell.. Amazing. Like, really amazing? Please let me know in the comments below!

So, this months box was all about the weather getting warmer. I adore (it literally made me squeal like a little child) the packaging of this months box and will definitely be using the box for something else afterwards. Birchbox have collaborated with Harper's Bazaar to put together a collection of products designed for the warmer months ahead. So what did I get?

Hello there;
