Sephora Haul

If you're a reader of this blog, you'll know that last month I travelled to Vegas with my boyfriend. There will be a full post on this, but I'm still sorting out photos so bear with me. For now, you can have this. I went overboard in Sephora, my first time in the shop and in America so why the hell not?! Buckle down, this is going to be a long one.

Surprisingly, I brought a LOT of skincare! I use the same things everyday and thought it was about time I spiced things up a bit and treated my skin. I needed a new cleanser and when I saw First Aid Beauty Face Cleanser at $10 for the 55ml size, I thought I'd give it a try. Never heard of the brand before but who can pass it up at $10?! Also for cleansing, I've been wanting the Clinque Take the Day Off Cleansing Balm for ages as I've never used a balm before - actually can't make my mind up on this product ATM, full review coming up soon! Next, face masks. Can I just say Origins is immensely cheaper in America, I very nearly brought everything. But I settled for the Origins Drink Up Intensive Overnight Mask seeing as my skin was so dry whilst in the desert. I've used this twice and actually quite like it! Next I got my hands on a full size pot of GLAMGLOW SUPERMUD which I have been wanting since I tried their YOUTHMUD. Last but not least in the skincare section, we have NUDE Fizzy Powder Wash which is a grainy powder which you add water too and it turns into a paste. Very messy!

Eyes, eyes, eyes. I've been DESPERATE to try the Too Faced Better Than Sex mascara for so long and it was only $20, I should of brought 3 really. I also (accidentally) picked up the Tarte Gifted Amazonian Clay mascara, I thought I was buying the Lights, Camera, Lashes (they're all in the same box) and got back to the hotel and was like, oh. But fear not, I am not disappointed, it's freaking amazing. Review coming. Finally for eyes I treated myself to this Tarte Perfect Duo which includes a pair of eyelash curlers and a mini version of Lights, Camera, Lashes, YAY!

Technically I brought Benefit POREfessional at the airport, but I'm including it in here. I've used this plenty of times but have never owned a full size, so now I do! Secondly, whilst in Vegas I had a makeover in the NARS store (more on this in another post) and came into Sephora when I decided I wanted the bronzer she used. Now, I don't know if I was being an idiot, but the NARS stand had literally no bronzers except Laguna, so I looked elsewhere. In comes Laura Mercier Shimmer Bloc in Golden Mosaic - trust me, it's stunning.

I brought this for one of my bumpkins as a birthday present, then decided I needed one too. I've been wanting to try something by Kat Von D for forever and was tempted by the palettes, but resisted and told myself I have too many. I saw this when I was paying and thought it'd be a nice starting point to trying her range.

Last, but most certainly not least, I picked up a couple of the Sephora masks. I could easily have brought all of them at only $6 but I restrained myself. I'm looking forward to trying these, especially the Anti-Fatigue one!

And there you have it. Made it to the end? Well done, treat yourself to a muffin. I have reviews coming up on every single item, so watch this space. Whilst here, I'd just like to take the time to say how wonderful every member of staff in Sephora was, they're all extremely friendly and ready to help and it made the overwhelming experience a little less scary for me!

Have you tried any of these products?
