Make Up Revolution - The Nail Edit

A couple of weeks ago, I put in my first order with Make Up Revolution. This is a brand that has literally been taking the beauty world by storm and has come from being a company I had never heard to, to a company I thought just made cheap make up, to a company that I will be purchasing from again and again and again.

When I first visited the site, after scouring the 'lips' section, I went straight over to 'nails'. If you've been reading this blog a while now, you'll know I'm a polish hoarder. I decided to pick up two colours, but for £1 each I could of stuck so many more in my basket. I chose 'Are You Still Available?' which is a beautiful slate mauve and I loved it as soon as I tried it and I also picked up 'Midnight Connection' which I thought would be a deep navy, but turned out to be a bit brighter than I expected, although still a nice colour. The picture above is with two coats and as you can see (sorry about the awful pictures, it was a miserable day) they still look a bit streaky so you'd probably want a third coat. However, what do you expect for only £1?

I think these are actually great value for money and I'll definitely be picking up one or two more colours with my next order, when they're so cheap I can't think of a single reason not to.

Have you tried Make Up Revolution nail polishes? What did you think?

  1. I haven't tried anything from this brand yet, but I've heard amazing things! The colours are gorgeous, I can't believe they're only £1.

  3. The blue colour is gorgeous! I actually just bought a red in that brand the other day, I couldn't say no for £1 and it's actually stayed on quite well and I only put one coat on!

  4. That's so good for just one coat! The pictures above are with two coats, I'm still yet to try them on my actual nails!
