Meadowhall Haul // 02

For the second time in the space of a few weeks, I ventured to Meadowhall with the best one Sian and did too much damage to my bank card. In all fairness, I have spent barely anything since my last haul and so me and Sian decided we'd have a blowout. And boy, did we. It was a lovely, relaxing day which I really needed just before the 4 weeks of hell began on Monday. We shopped for hours and finished off the day in TGIF - perfect or what? Here's what I brought;

Copperplate and Satin Taupe - I brought these for my empty MAC Pro Palette, which you'll of seen in Wednesday's post. These are the first two shadows I have brought for the palette and I have fallen in love with both of them! Satin Taupe is a beautiful frost finish mushroom colour and Copperplate is almost exactly the same colour but a matt version. The Pro Palette refills are £10 each, which I do think is a bit excessive but we buy them anyway!

Dorothy Koomson is one of my all-time favourite authors. I adore her books, so when I saw this beauty in Waterstones I had to snap it up. I think it may be her new one? However, I can't read it yet as I'm currently reading a series of 5 and I'm only on book 1, so this may have to wait a while!

Wasn't sure whether this was appropriate, then I realised I don't really care, it's just underwear. I've been desperate for some new bras for a while so I brought these beauties from La Senza. I already had the black one but it's getting a bit ropey so I purchased a new one! And the one behind is a gorgeous neutral and black lace! The pants are from Topshop (I'm a bit of an underwear snob and only really wear Topshop pants) and were 3 for £10 which I think is a bargain. I went for green and orange for some reason, clearly I'm feeling summery.

Of course I couldn't go to Meadowhall without going in Boots - always a dangerous plan. And yes, it was dangerous. I went in to purchase the new Models Own polishes, but they didn't have them :( so I drowned my sorrows in Soap and Glory. Two of these were on my Soap and Glory Wish List so I thought I'd get those bad boys, and then Sian made me purchase the blusher and the eyeliner so I'm blaming her for this.

We must of spent about 45 minutes in Primark. I hate going in there but there's always some good bargains. I treated myself to some cute little sandals - at £6 you can't go wrong. Some grips and some pretty PJ's - I adore Primark PJs. I also saw a black and white floral dungarees that were out of stock, I was literally heartbroken and Sian will tell you it was all I talked about for the rest of the trip. I'm gonna go to my local stores and hunt them down!

So there you have it, the damage has been. But I think I got some right little bargains! And I was proud when we ventured into Lush and I brought nothing whilst Sian stocked up. It was a lovely day and I can't wait to do it again!

  6. Lovely haul! I hate going into Primark too, but always seem to find a few bits in there (usually PJs actually!) so I persevere.
