My first 'empties' post of 2015 - I actually have a massive bag full of empty products, but I couldn't possibly fit them all into one post, so I'm spreading them out! 

Meadowhall Haul // 02

For the second time in the space of a few weeks, I ventured to Meadowhall with the best one Sian and did too much damage to my bank card. In all fairness, I have spent barely anything since my last haul and so me and Sian decided we'd have a blowout. And boy, did we. It was a lovely, relaxing day which I really needed just before the 4 weeks of hell began on Monday. We shopped for hours and finished off the day in TGIF - perfect or what? Here's what I brought; 

Soap and Glory Wish List

Well hello there;

I recently had a mini Soap and Glory splurge and brought No Clogs Allowed and One Heck of a Blot. I have fallen in love with both of these products and it has me want more, more, more. Now, I'm not a Soap and Glory newbie, but I'm certainly no expert. I haven't really reached out for new products, so I thought I'd have a look on their website and let you guys know what I'm lusting after! 

1) Sugar Crush Body Buttercream - £10.50

I adore the Sugar Crush scent (as you can probably tell from the wish list) and this sounds divine. I'm pretty sure it's just Righteous Butter but with a different scent, which is fine by me as I love that product too! 

2) Sugar Crush Body Scrub - £8.00

I'm a little confused as to why this is £2 cheaper than the buttercream when they're both the same amount of product? Who knows. But anyway, I have used this before, I got it for Christmas a few years ago and I love, love, love it. So this is always going to be on my wish list.

3) Sugar Crush Body Wash - £6.50

I see a theme here, do you? The last Sugar Crush product on the list, I thought it'd be nice to add this in seeing as I want everything else from that line. Who doesn't want to smell like sugar and limes? Let's be honest. 

4) For Daily Use Face Wash - £9.00

I think this product is a little over priced for a face wash, so it must be good, right? Hmm. This has the Peaches and GoJuice scent which I have smelt once before I think? Is it the same scent as Peaches and Cream? I dunno, but I need a new face wash. This has pink bits in it I think, so what else do I need from a face wash?

5) Archery Eyebrow Pencil - £10.00

I've been wanting a new eyebrow pencil for ages now because mine is shit :) I've had my eye on this for ages so this will probably be my next S&G purchase. Has anyone used this? Let me know if it's good!

Skincare // 01

Good morning!

The other day I was looking at myself in the mirror, as you do and I realised, my skin is in the best condition it has ever been. Since getting myself into a skincare routine (which I whole-heartedly recommend) it's like I have a new face. No spots, no dry skin (only occasionally) nothing! So I thought I'd spend today's post talking about how my skin has come to this. Now this is just what my routine is ATM, I do change it up a bit because I like to try new products.

A bit of Soap & Glory

Would you look at that.. I'm doing a review! Nobody panic, I'm not ill, I promise. This is supposed to be a beauty blog, after all. Today I thought I'd do a little review on something I got for Christmas, you know, that event that happened 3 months ago yet I still haven't reviewed ANYTHING I got. Oh well; please don't ask me what this set was, I chucked all the packaging, I do apologise, so I have no idea what it was called! Let's get started shall we?

 Look at that lighting, I'm a pro ;) I kid, it was stupidly sunny outside and this is taken on my Daddy's big boy camera.

Okay kids, so in this set we have; Scrub of your Life, The Righteous Butter, Clean on Me and Hand Food. I definitely don't think these are S&G's best products (other than Righteous Butter) by far but they're handy little products to have round the house. 

Scrub of your Life - I am a massive fan of the Sugar Crush Body Scrub, it smells like heaven in a tub, so this doesn't really excite me at all. I'm not a fan of the smell, where is the strawberry scent everyone bangs on about? It's very boring in my opinion. I feel like this is more of a body wash than a scrub? Compared to the other scrubs they have, Sugar Crush, Star Smoothie - I just don't think it lives up to it's name, at all. It definitely isn't the scrub of my life, in fact, I so strongly believe that it isn't that I feel the need to write a letter, but I won't, because I'm a wuss. Basically - I don't like this product and I think there are way better alternatives for the same amount of money.

The Righteous Butter - Now this is a product I do like. I have started to put this on my legs (because for some reason I only feel the need to moisturise my legs) after a bath or shower and I know it makes a difference because Bear says 'Ooo, ooo them legs are soft' so it has the thumbs up from him. I can't say that I'm a huge fan of the smell, again I love the Sugar Crush scents and overall I'm not a fan of the Original Pink scent (which is what this is and the Scrub of your Life are). It is for very dry skin, which luckily I don't have but it doesn't make my skin feel overly oily which is a good thing I guess! This is something I would probably repurchase however, a little goes a long way so it should last a while!

 This product has it's own picture cause I like it more than the others - favoritism much?!

Clean on Me - I had a big bottle of this from last Christmas, that I never used and ended up binning (don't shoot!) so when I received this mini-sized gem, I thought I'd actually give it a go. Whilst, once again, it isn't a favourite of mine, it's actually a really nice shower gel. It lathers up really well (if you're into that kinda thing) and it does leave my skin feeling really clean. Again, the scent. Original Pink, which the whole of this set is scented with, just doesn't impress me. Sorry Soap and Glory, but this pretty much rules out a hell of a lot of your products! CHANGE THE SCENTS, GODDAMMIT!

Hand Food - Oh I'm so tired of hand creams. I do not have a problem with dry skin, other than on my face, so why does every beauty box I subscribe to, feel the need to send me a new hand cream, every single month? Tell me, please, cause it is damn annoying. Anyway, I don't have much to say about this seeing as I don't tend to use hand creams, unless they smell amazing, this doesn't, as we've discussed, so it will probably be binned or given away. 

Overall, it's a nice set, I just hate the scent, as I've said, several times. I think I've put my point across by now. I will use the first three up, but the hand cream is just a no-no!
