Here Comes The Summer Sun

Good morning!

With all this beautiful weather we've been having, I've been getting excited about my holiday (which isn't until August, but hey ho!) and I should warn you now, that I am a massive swimwear addict. So I thought I'd take today to show you some of my recent discoveries. 

Meadowhall Haul // 02

For the second time in the space of a few weeks, I ventured to Meadowhall with the best one Sian and did too much damage to my bank card. In all fairness, I have spent barely anything since my last haul and so me and Sian decided we'd have a blowout. And boy, did we. It was a lovely, relaxing day which I really needed just before the 4 weeks of hell began on Monday. We shopped for hours and finished off the day in TGIF - perfect or what? Here's what I brought; 

Spring Wishlist, 2014

Good morning!

As of yesterday (20th March) it's officially Spring! I love Spring and I love the colours that come with it. I'm a massive pastel fan, I love floral print dresses and I'm a hoarder of sandals. So browsing the World Wide Web for pretties to put in this wish list was very dangerous, but seeing as I'm skint this month, I settled for just showing you guys what I'm lusting after!

1) Michael Kors Watch - Bloomingdales $250 (This is also on Amazon, the link just wouldn't work)

I've wanted a Michael Kors watch for a while now. I'm not a watch person, at all. I've never owned a watch, I hate my arms and how skinny they are so I tend to steer away from arm wear, but after seeing these about I've definitely fallen in love. I'm loving the rose gold themes at the moment and this is no different. Someone please buy me one of these?

2) Black Daisy Tea Dress - Dorothy Perkins - £38

I'm loving all the floral prints that are coming out at the moment and especially the daisy prints. Having a God-Daughter named Daisy means I have an excuse to purchase everything daisy related, and I think this dress from Dorothy Perkins is a need - to buy.

3) Bowler Hat - Accessorize - £25

I love hats on girls, much to Bear's dismay (he hates them) and recently my friend Kerry got brought one of these for her birthday and she looks shit hot in it and I tried it on and decided I looked awesome, so now I feel the need to purchase one. Maybe not one for £25 though.. Primark anyone?

4) Ciate Sugared Almonds - Selfridges - £9

If you don't know by now that I'm addicted to nail varnish, then where have you been? Really! Of course a polish had to be involved in this wishlist. I adore all the pastel colours that come out at this time of year and I think Sugared Almonds is a gorgeous peach colour (I actually only own one peach nail varnish) and would look awesome in my collection.

5) Topshop Lips in Petal - Topshop - £8

Again, another addiction of mine. I'm a huge lipstick hoarder, mostly pinks and reds. In fact, all pinks and reds I think. So here's another pink that I think is bloody beautiful and even though I have about 4 others in this shade, I definitely need this one.

6) Blue Faded Mom Jeans - New Look - £24.99

I do NOT wear jeans. I own one pair, that I only wear when I'm training the dogs at Uni. I really don't think jeans suit me in the slightest but I really, really want a pair of mom jeans! Maybe I can buy some and just never look in a mirror? Hmm.

7) Stone Thin Caged Flat Sandals - New Look - £17.99

It's nearly sandal weather guys. I love shoes. Addictions are clearly a part of my nature because Bear constantly tells me I do not need that pair of shoes that look exactly the same as those other ones that I own. I love sandals, I love getting my feet out (I think I have lovely feet, soz) and I think these are beauts!

The London Haul

 

 Morning!

 

As you may know, I went to London over the weekend for a nice break with the Bear. Obviously you can't go to London without taking a trip down Oxford street, so here's a look at the damage I did to my bank card :)

 

(The most irritating thing when the picture bar stops coming up so I can't make this large, if anyone has a solution for this, please let me know in the comments as it always happens to me!)

 

I've been wanting some new Vans for ages so we took a trip into Schuh and I came out with some Fred Perry's. I didn't take a picture because, I'm lazy, but they're just plain black and I love them :) They're really cute. I then decided to wear them to the zoo on Sunday, that was what some people would say, a STUPID idea as my feet were ripped to shreds, to the point of me crying in the middle of the zoo, telling Bear I couldn't go on and that he should go without me.

 

3 new books. That's 12 books sat on my shelf at Bear's waiting to be read now. He tried so hard to avoid letting me in Waterstones, the poor boy, but in I went, with the intention of spending no more money (it was the last shop we went in) and came out with not 1, but 3 new books.

 

MAKE-UP. How could I resist. So I went to Selfridges and brought two new MAC lipsticks. I wanted Snob, to replace my other that went missing :( but then I saw Saint Germain, which I have in the lip glass, and decided I liked it better. Then I saw the new RiRi AND that the whole cost of the lipstick went towards an AIDS charity so that was my justification for buying those. I also brought a purple (I have never worn purple lipstick in my life) Topshop lipstick. I've never tried their cosmetics, other than nail varnish, so we'll see if this is any good! Also from Topshop I brought a lipgloss? I think it's classed as a creme, but never mind, in Cruel. Which again, is purple. What is wrong with me?!

 

Also from Selfridges, I saw the Ciate flower manicure that I have been lusting after for about a month now and obviously, to Bear's dismay, I had to have it. I will be doing a review on this when I can be bothered to take the time to do my nails nicely, so keep your eyes peeled.

 

So nuggets, as you can see, I'm an impulse buying, I have an extremely addictive personality, lipstick, nail stuff and books, and I feel sorry for my man who's house is now full of my shit. That's what you get for letting me loose on Oxford Street! Lesson learnt, eh?!

Nail Varnish Wishlist // 01

Morning;

So, you guys have probably guessed by now, that I'm addicted to nail polish. This habit is definitely not getting any better, only worse it seems. Topshop Wishlist // 01

If I gave you a full Topshop Wishlist, we'd be here for at least a few hours, so I've cut it down to the basic few that I'm desperate for. I'm a massive Topshop addict and I (used to) love nothing better than getting myself in debt with my Topshop card, but house saving has taken that away from me and the card has been cut, sad face :( since then I rarely venture into Topshop to stop myself getting depressed, but after going onto their site, I have fallen in love all over again.
