Sian Marie Beauty Blog

As always, Sian is top of my list. Not only is she my best friend, her blog is bloody brilliant. She has been blogging for a year now and has gained an amazing following as well as publishing some awesome posts. She's so dedicated and it makes me wish I had her motivation and creative skills so that I could apply them to my own blog. My favourite of her latest posts are My Favourite MAC (everyone can relate to this post) and her Happy 1st Birthday. Congratulations my little chicken nugget, keep up the incredible work. 

Favourite Folk - April Edition

It's that time of month again, I can't believe I've stuck to a post series for 4 months in a row, check me out! I've followed sooooo many new blogs this month and instead of repeating my big favourites like I have done for the last few months, I'm going to write about a few of the new blogs I've been loving. Let's get started shall we? 

Sian Marie Beauty Blog

Okay so I said I wasn't repeating people, but I just can't go a month without mentioning my best friend. This is still the first blog I go to on Bloglovin each morning and I always, always adore whatever she posts about. This month she hit 200 followers (I feel like a proud mother) and my favourite posts have been her Spring Tag and her MAC Wish List which has made me want to run into MAC and purchase everything. Keep it up beautiful and here's to hitting 300 followers next month!

Favourite Folk - March Edition

Hello, hello, hello.

It's that time again! Where I tell you who I've been obsessing over this month! I've met some lovely people over the last couple of months and I'm sorry (not sorry, really) to say that most of the people from last month's FF and also in this months. Let's get started;

Sian Marie's Beauty Blog

Here she is, right on cue. Another month where I have adored scrolling through her posts and wanting to buy everything she reviews. She hit 150 followers this week and I couldn't be more proud! My favourite posts from this month include her Life in Letters tag and the Get Ready With Me that I'm featured in! She does a lot of reviews, unlike me (I really do try!) and I love reading through her honest thoughts! Please give her a read, it'd make her day! 

Student Life

I've featured Hannah on here before, maybe in my first ever FF? I'm not sure, but I still love reading her posts. She doesn't post as much as I'd like her to, but when she does, I am straight there! I adored her Life According to Beyonce post a few days ago and her Why Don't You Like Me? post had me in hysterics. Her blog is life based and she shares my woes of student life and knowing she can get up and go into Uni each day, pushes me to do the same (sometimes). Give her a look, she's hilarious. 

Steph Ellis

I featured Steph in last months FF and she's back again. I just can't get enough of her face. Seriously, it's worrying. Definite girl crush right here. Moving on.. I love reading Steph's Sunday posts where she sticks up pictures of each hour of her day - cause I'm nosey and I like to see how much more interesting peoples lives are than mine (it ain't hard, trust me). She posted a Personalising Your Parties post this month which has now made me want to throw at least 12 parties in my tiny two bedroom house. You should definitely pop on over, if only to look at her face.

Seek My Scribbles

Not only have a fallen head over heels in love with this girl and her blog - she's from Nottingham! What a small world. I'm hoping Sian, Megan and I can soon meet up, blow our wages in Boots and then drown our money-woes in TGIF cocktails. What do you think girls?! I love this lady's blog, with a mixture of make-up, life and fashion, you just can't go wrong. I love her Little Life Snippets posts because once again, I'm nosey as hell and also her What's on my Wish List? post has got me craving pencils (you'll have to check her out to see what I'm banging on about). She's lovely and just follow her, dammit.

Jo Blogs

I also met this lady this month and boy, am I glad I did. Her blog fills me with little bubbles of joy, if that's possible. Her Spring Is Here post has made me want to dress in yellow floral tops and pink leather skirts. I'd definitely pull that off, I don't care what you say. I really do look forward to her posts and I'm always scanning through my Bloglovin' posts to see if she's posted that day. Go on over and give her some love, you won't regret it! 

Right guys, that's it for this month. This month's was really hard to do! And I could of added so many more, but I think 5 is enough, don't want you guys reading for hours! Or do I?! Sian Marie's Beauty Blog

Yes, she's back, again. I genuinely read her blog posts before I read anyone elses. This may be because she's my soulmate, but it's also because I am literally in love with her blog. We're constantly talking about what posts we're thinking of doing, discussing new blogs we've found and every time she gets a new follower, I may be ever so (very) jealous, but it makes me even more proud of her and her little Internet space.

Steph Ellis

I stumbled across this literally beautiful lady in the #bbloggers chat a few weeks ago, and I've been hooked on her blog ever since. There is one thing that drives me insane though, she looks bloody fantastic in everything. Every lipstick, every eyeshadow, every piece of clothing, every picture. Definitely slightly in love with this girl. Check her out, her blog is awesome and she's hot. 

Lemonaid Lies

Love this blog! And her addiction to Yankee Candles makes me squirm with delight. This little lady blogs about pretty much everything, home, lifestyle, beauty of course. I always look forward to reading her posts, and I want to buy pretty much everything she posts about. I also LOVE the name she's chosen, Lemonaid Lies, who would think of that?! I love it!

I met this girl, again, during a #bbloggers chat and I've come to adore her. She's helped me with my 'eating issues' (if you've read my Motivational Monday post, you'll know what that means) and I think she's just a darling. Oh, darling. Her blog is bloody awesome and I wish she posted everyday! Such a genuine girl and she is definitely worth a read!

Favourite Folk - January Edition

Ayup pancakes!

It's that time of month, I actually love doing this post! January has been a seriously slow (and cold) month, pay day where are you?! So to pass the time I have followed so many blogs this month, that it's been seriously difficult to pick my favourites! I've only picked 4, because otherwise I'd of been rambling forever and none of us want or need that. This will be a monthly feature from now on, I'm pretty sure I kept missing months last year, but I will make an effort now!

I found this pretty lady after she began following me on Twitter. I nipped on to her blog to have a quick peak and ended up on there for about an hour. Her blog is real easy-reading, which is good for someone with a short attention span, (not me, okay me) and I love the way she writes! She also ALWAYS has literally beautiful nails. Being a nail varnish addict, this is NOT good for me seeing as I just want to buy every single nail varnish she uses. You seriously need to check this girl out.

The Unreal Life

Bit of a lifestyle blog for you here. This girl is hilarious. I love her recent post 'Blogging Bites' where she talks about the times when her writing has gotten her into trouble. I have yet to experience this, but I'm sure I will once more people are reading my babble! Autumn (what a name, swooooon) seems so down to Earth and I look forward to her quirky little posts!

Sian Marie

She's back again guys. Our Sian is probably going to be featured on every Favourite Folk edition because I just love her so much. She'll text me saying 'DONE A NEW POST' but won't tell me what it is, or what it's about, or when she's gonna post it. This leads me to constantly refreshing Bloglovin' cause I'm just so desperate to see what she's typed about. I can see her little space on the internet turning into quite a large space! CHECK HER OUT. Oh, she's also my BFF.

LLYMRS

Lily Melrose. Definitely fancy this lady. She has two blogs, but this is her fashion based one. I've also subscribed to her YouTube channel, you can do that HERE. I'm not going to lie to you, I definitely did go and buy a shed load of stuff from New Look after I'd watched her New Look Haul video. The fact that she's just posted a TopShop Haul video, is ruining me. I adore her style and seeing how gorgeous she looks in bloody everything, makes me want to get up and make myself look presentable, rather than fannying round Uni in a hoody and leggings. One downside; she's too damn pretty.

Favourite Folk - December Edition

Last month as part of BEDN (Blog Every Day in November) I posted Favourite Folk, talking about my favourite blogs at the time. I've decided to make this a permanent feature that will be posted at the start of every month, featuring blogs that I was loving in the previous month. Does that make sense? No? Never mind. You'll catch up. Anyway, let's crack on;

Miss Budget Beauty

Why do I love this lady? Because it's budget beauty and I am on, you guessed it, a budget. She reviews a lot of MUA and Seventeen which are both upcoming brands that are quickly making a name for themselves. She's also posted quite a few Christmas Gift Guides which have been EXTREMELY helpful seeing as I'm rubbish at buying presents. I also subscribed to her YouTube channel so I can gaze at her pretty face, which you can find here; YouTube!

BengalCatWorld

Now this is a weird one, I understand it isn't beauty related whatsoever. But I did point out that I would sometimes be posting animal related thingys and I think it's nice to spice things up abit! I love BengalCatWorld and I love that it's written as if it is Spot himself speaking. Also; having a stumpy little Bengal myself, I love reading about what other peoples kitties get up to. This month the blog is doing a World Advent Calender where they're investing different 'cat' quotes and sayings. Whether you find that interesting or not is entirely your choice, but I love it! Go have a read.

Student Life (The Diary of a NotSo Secret) Poor Girl

I have fallen in love with this blog! Being a student myself it's awesome knowing that someone else is going through what I am, and writing about it. Sharing tips, sharing thoughts, I just love it. The way Hannah writes shows off her bubbly, HILARIOUS personality and I love reading her posts. She writes a lot about becoming an adult which is something I love to read as I'm pretty much one foot into the world of adulthood and her little posts give me a nice lift when I'm feeling like I'm the only person struggling in the world. 

Life is Worth the Fight

I have a friend going through a very similar situation to Stacie; who is weirdly called Stacey! This is actually a really emotional blog where she talks about her illness openly which I think is such a brave thing to write about. She is currently waiting for a heart and lung transplant and writes about her false alarms and the ups and downs of living with her condition. I think she is an amazingly brave person to go what she is going through and still come out smiling and living her life and I constantly look forward to her inspiring posts. 

Somewhere Beyond the Sea

During #BEDN I met a lovely woman who goes by the name of Claire. She is all the kinds of woman I want to be. She has travelled pretty much everywhere and reading her blog makes me want to constantly globe trot. My favourite post of hers is the beautiful story of how she fell in love with her partner. I love her blog because it's different, it's inspiring, it's magical. The places she has been make me want to jump in her backpack and go along with her to the next one. You definitely need to check her out if travelling the world is your idea of heaven. 

Okay guys, so those are my 5 favourite folk from November. Only one beauty related which is quite strange for me, but as we know, there is more to life than make-up. I really think you should give all 5 a read as they're all completely different and I love them all for different reasons.

#BEDN - Favourite Folk

So this morning I'm going to take the time to share a few of my favourite blogs! I was originally going to post about my favourite people at home - but they're all boring ;) so I'm going to show you some of my new addictions. 

Sian Marie

Now I can't talk about my favourite blogs without mentioning my bestie. I've not chosen her because she's the love of my life, I do genuinely adore her blog. It's all beauty based with a couple of life posts thrown in the mix. Her way of writing is so down to Earth and she doesn't give a product a good review just because she thinks that is what people will what to hear. Go and follow her now, or bad things will happen.

Tattooed Tealady

Some of you may already be following this beautiful lady as she seems to be pretty well known, but I have become addicted to her blog recently so just had to give her a mention. Her blog is beauty based but she talks about budget beauty as well as high end, which I adore, because I am a pauper and cannot afford most beautiful, expensive things. She also lives in Nottingham, like me! She posts daily which is awesome as I love having something to read on the bus in a morning! Also, you will want to buy everything she posts about, just so you know. 

Sprinkle of Glitter

Now, everybody knows Louise. She was one of the first blogs I started to read, I'm also addicted to BOTH of her YouTube channels - Sprinkle of Glitter and Sprinkle of Chatter - check them out, NOW! Her blog is a bit of everything, I adore her Darcy posts (Baby Glitter) and always look forward to what she's going to post about next. After watching literally every single video she's ever posted, apart from being totally in love with her (fan girl over here) I feel like I know her. Is that weird? It's weird, isn't it? But anyway, she's one of my favourites!

Hello October

Suzie is a new blog that I've been following, she also has a YouTube channel Hello October which I love because her videos are around 5 minutes long and I have the attention span of a flea. Her blog is beauty based and I adore her skin care posts (she is the one who inspired me to actually start a skincare routine). She also posts some beautiful pictures! 

So there you have it, my four favourite folk of the month. I'm thinking I might make this kind of post a monthly deal, then you guys can see who I'm stalking, right?
